Mr. Janki Ballabh joined the State Bank of India in July 1966 and served in several important positions which included assignments at the New York Branch of the Bank, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank's Branch at Singapore, Chief General Manager (Product Development, Marketing and Personal Banking) at the Corporate Office and Deputy Managing Director and Group Executive (International Banking), before taking over as Chairman, State Bank Group in November 1, 2000. Besides heading the State Bank of India, Shri Ballabh was also the chairman of the Seven Associate Banks of the State Bank of India, 4 banking subsidiaries of the Bank abroad and seven non-banking subsidiaries of the Bank in India. On retirement from State Bank of India, Shri Ballabh was appointed by the President of India as Vigilance Commissioner in the Central Vigilance Commission, New Delhi for 3 years from November 2002 to October 2005. Shri Ballabh worked as Chairman, Reserve Bank of India Services Board from 8th December 2005 to 23rd October 2007. He also serves as the Director on the Boards of various Tata companies as an Independent Director.
Mr. M D Mallya
Mr. Devadas Mallya Mangalore has completed his Bachelor of Engineering with Distinction from Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Suratkal (now known as National Institute of Technology (NIT), Karnataka, holds a Post Graduation Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore with Distinction and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Mr. Mallya, former Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Baroda retired from bank’s services with effect from December 1, 2012. Prior to joining Bank of Baroda, he was the Chairman & Managing Director of Bank of Maharashtra. He started his banking career from Corporation Bank in August 1976. In a career spanning over 31 years, he has acquired a rich experience in banking at various positions and assignments. During his tenure, Bank of Baroda had won several awards and accolades of which 'Bank of the Year – 2010' by Business India and 'Bank of the Year – 2010 (India)' by Banker Magazine, London, UK, are notable. His tenure as Executive Director of Oriental Bank of Commerce (“OBC”) was marked by several new initiatives and providing leadership inputs including the merger of erstwhile Global Trust Bank with OBC. Mr. Mallya has wide exposure to management education and has undergone training programmes in leading academic institutes like Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune, etc., and has been on various committees of Indian Banks' Association and NIBM.
M S Dharmadhikari
Mr. Mukund Dharmadhikari was articled with Whinney Murray & Co., Chartered Accountants, London, UK, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1975. He is a Fellow Member of that Institute as well as of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has rich experience in the fields of audit, accountancy and finance. He has been the Senior Partner of M/s A. F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants and later a Partner and a Member of the Governing Board of M/s Deloitte Haskins & Sells. Mr. Dharmadhikari has been a signing Partner of several large corporates including Tata Motors Limited., ITC Limited., Siemens Limited., ABB Limited., Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd., Pfizer Ltd, KEC International Limited., etc. He retired on September 30, 2010 after serving in the profession for over 35 years.
Ms. Anuradha Thakur, a graduate in Arts (English Literature) from the Pune University and a C.A.I.I.B. from the Indian Institute of Bankers, started her career as a Probationary Officer with the State Bank of India (“SBI”) in 1973 and retired in 2007, as the Chief General Manager, Corporate Accounts Group. During her tenure with SBI, Ms. Thakur attended to diverse business requirements of the top 500 customers of SBI, arranging their loan syndications, international banking, project financing, liquidity requirements, etc.. Ms. Thakur has experience in diverse industries including petrochemicals, engineering goods and equipment, non conventional energy, textiles and pharmaceuticals. At present, Ms. Thakur is Director of the National School of Banking and a visiting faculty in the Symbiosis School of Business Management. Ms. Thakur has also been appointed as a Nominee Director by SBI, in Patnaik Steel P. Limited, Odisha.
Farokh Nariman Subedar
Mr. F N Subedar is the Chief Operating Officer & Company Secretary at Tata Sons and has vast experience in the matters of company administration, taxation, accounts and finance. He is on the board of various Tata companies. Mr. Subedar has served as the Chairman of the Direct Taxation Committee of the Bombay Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Praveen P Kadle
Mr. Praveen P Kadle, the Managing Director of Tata Capital Limited, has been associated with the Tata Group for over 18 years in various important capacities. For the first 5 years, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Tata’s joint venture with IBM in India. Thereafter, he joined Tata Motors Limited as Vice-President (Finance) and in the year 2001 he joined the Board of Tata Motors Limited as Executive Director – Finance and Corporate Affairs.
